Item Code

To search for a particular item on the current purchase order, enter the

appropriate item code in the Item code field. The code you enter must be

an existing item code up to eight characters. You may also enter the item

code by scanning it using a bar code reader, or by entering any other

alternate code assigned to this item using the Alternate Code Maintenance

program.

Vendor Item Code

Enter the vendor item code of an item in the Vendor item code field to

search for a particular item on the current purchase order using the vendor's

item code instead of your item code. The code you enter must be an existing

vendor item code up to 20 characters.

Go to Last Line

The Go to Last Line feature allows you to move the cursor directly to the next

available line on the current purchase order. This is especially useful when

you have retrieved a purchase order to which you want to add lines. After

recalling a purchase order and displaying the Purchase Order Lines screen,

use the Go to Last Line feature to move directly to the next available line and

begin entering new lines.

When you select Go to last line from the Lines pull-down menu, the cursor

returns immediately to the Purchase Order Lines screen positioned in the

Item Cd field of the next available line on the current purchase order. You

can use this feature regardless of whether you are working in the scrolling

line list or the detail window.

Insert Line Feature

Use the Insert Line feature to insert an item line anywhere on the current

purchase order. When a line is inserted, all lines displayed after the insertion

point are renumbered. Before choosing this feature, place your cursor on the

line below where you want to insert a new line.
