After entering a printer name for each displayed copy type, the various

copies print on the indicated printers, and the cursor returns to the current

purchase order.

Deleting the Current Purchase Order

Use the Delete Current Purchase Order feature to delete the currently

displayed purchase order without saving any of the information it contains. A

purchase order is usually deleted if you have decided you don't want to

purchase the items from the vendor. Once a purchase order has been

deleted, there is no trace of it ever existing on your system.

You cannot delete a purchase order that is partially received,

totally received, or canceled. However, you can use the Cancel

Current PO feature to cancel the remaining quantity on a

purchase order that has been partially received.

When you select Delete current purchase order... from the Functions

pull-down menu, the Delete Purchase Order window opens informing you that

the purchase order will be permanently deleted, and allows you to choose

whether to continue with the deletion.

When a purchase order that has been assigned a purchase order

number is deleted using this feature, a message is logged in the

Purchase Order Entry Log on your system. A report of this log

can be obtained by printing the Purchase Order Entry Log

Report, available from the Vendor Order Processing main menu
