If the vendor code you enter corresponds to a miscellaneous vendor, all
information held in the vendor's record is displayed except for the name,
address, telephone number, and contact. You can enter these fields for a
miscellaneous vendor, even if they are limited-access or display only fields.
Name
The vendor's name is displayed upon entry of a vendor code, as long as a
name exists in the vendor record of the Vendor Maintenance program in
Primary File Administration. If the vendor name is not displayed, or if this is
a miscellaneous vendor, enter up to 30 characters for the vendor's name.
Address
The vendor's address is displayed upon entry of a vendor code, as long as an
address exists in the vendor record of the Vendor Maintenance program in
Primary File Administration. The address that is displayed is the vendor's
sales address, unless this is a credit purchase order. For credits and returns,
the return address is displayed. If the vendor address is not displayed, or if
this is a miscellaneous vendor, enter an address for the vendor, or choose
from any of the addresses available for this vendor.
