When you select Print proofread copy... from the Print/Reprint Proofread
menu selections on the Functions pull-down menu of the current screen, the
Print Proofread Copy window opens requiring you to enter the name of the
printer at which to print the proofread copy.
The default printer displayed in this window is the printer established for
printing the vendor copy for this purchase order type from this terminal. This
printer is set up using the Purchase Order Printer by Session Preferences
program, discussed in your System Manager's Guide. You can accept the
displayed printer name, or enter the name of another printer at which to
print the proofread copy. If you are unsure of the printer name to enter,
press <Prompt> (PF2) to open the Printer Selection window and choose
one from those displayed.
Printing a PO Analysis Report
Use the Print Analysis Report feature to print a hard copy of the current order
quantities for the items on your purchase order. This is most useful after
importing a range of items or a permanent purchase order to verify these
quantities without updating the purchase order information into your records.
The hard copy that results when this feature is used also includes suggested
order quantity and a week's supply quantity information for each item on the
purchase order. When you use the Import Permanent Purchase Order or
Import Item Range feature to import items, you can choose the quantities to
import. After making adjustments to those quantities for the current
purchase order, you may want to use the Print PO Analysis Report feature to
check them against the additional purchasing information provided.
