On the Purchase Order Totals screen, choose Reprint and update the
purchase order in the Print option field to reprint the purchase order. Any
change made to the current purchase order are saved, and the appropriate
Reprint Purchase Order window opens. Refer to Chapter 2: Purchase Order
Entry for further information on the various Reprint Purchase Order windows
and the Reprint feature. You can also choose Update the purchase order
without printing to update without printing. To delete the recalled
purchase order, you must use the Delete Current Purchase Order feature. In
addition, you cannot change the selection in the Cost option field. Any of
the other entry fields on the Purchase Order Totals screen may be changed.
Backordered Purchase Orders
When you recall a backordered purchase order, the rules for the Purchase
Order Header and Totals screens are the same as those for an accepted
purchase order. However, the rules that apply for the Purchase Order Lines
screen depend on the status of the particular purchase order line you are
working with. In addition, you cannot enter anticipated cost group purchases
and you cannot delete a backordered purchase order.
On a backordered purchase order, it is possible to have lines with statuses of
entered, accepted, backordered, received, or canceled. Deleted lines are not
displayed.
On lines with statuses of accepted, you can change any information on the
line, including the item code or item description. Conversely, lines with
statuses of received or canceled cannot be modified at all. This includes
modification of the item description, and entering or editing line remarks.
You cannot delete received or canceled purchase order lines.
