Promotion in effect or pending" is displayed beside price 1 only if
the specified item is on a promotion that is currently underway
or that will run in the future. Promotions are established and
maintained using the Promotion Maintenance program in the
Price Management module.
Item Prices and Cost Inquiry
Use the Item Prices and Cost Inquiry to view the prices for the selected item
at price levels 1 through 8, as well as other related price and cost information
for the selected location.
When you select Item Prices & Costs... from the Item Inquiries menu, the
Price/Cost Information window opens. If you access this inquiry while the
cursor is positioned on an entered purchase order line, the item code of the
item on that line, the location for which the line is being entered, and price
and cost information about the item display in this window. However, if you
access the inquiry from a blank purchase order line, only the location for
which the line is being entered is displayed, and you must enter the item
code of the item about which to inquire.
