With a suitable software package the configurations and operating statuses of

the UPS can be determined and processed via the communication interface.

The software packages are available from the manufacturer / dealer or through

the service hotline. Through these channels you can receive useful information

about the suitable software packages for your UPS to fit your needs.

The following basic functions are supported by all software packages:

– Detecting and displaying the UPS's power supply status

– Display of the UPS output status

– Detecting and displaying the charging status of the battery bank.

– Closing of open applications in the case of a mains failure.

– Shut down of the operating system.

– Creating log files.

– Basic monitoring of UPS-data and condition (diagnostic function).

For more information on the individual software packages, like installation, op-

eration and range of services, see the respective software manuals.

In the chapter "Scope of Delivery / (Optional) Accessories" you will find suitable

and tested software packages.
