GEAR CASE
The gear case is lubricated with grease at the
factory and does not require checking. If
disassembled for any reason, relubricate with 2
ounces (do NOT overfill) of Shell Alvania grease
EPR00, part number 737-0168. Before
reassembling, remove old sealant and apply Loctite
5699 or equivalent.
CHUTE CRANK
The gear on the end of the chute crank should be
greased with multi-purpose automotive grease once
a season.
